Law on Incentives for Green Hydrogen Production Projects and its Derivatives The Egyptian House of Representatives issued this law, and "green hydrogen" refers to hydrogen produced by the electrolysis of desalinated water using renewable energy sources. The company established for the project must be a joint-stock company. Law No. 83 of 2002 regarding special economic zones and Law No. 72 of 2017 regarding investment are exempted from applying to these projects, provided that this law applies to green hydrogen production projects and their derivatives, which conclude project agreements within five years from the effective date of this law. Green hydrogen production projects, their derivatives, and future expansions shall benefit from the incentives provided in this law, provided that project expansion agreements are concluded within seven years from the date of commencement of commercial operation of the project "قانون حوافز مشروعات انتاج الهيدروجين الاخضر ومشتقاته" اصدر مجلس النواب المصري هذا القانون ويقصد بالهيدروجين الاخضر الهيدروجين المنتج من التحليل الكهربائي للمياه المحلاة بالاعتماد على الطاقة المتجددة. على ان تكون الشركة المؤسسة للمشروع شركة مساهمة. يستثني قانون المناطق الاقتصادية ذات الطبيعة الخاصة رقم83 لسنة 2002 وقانون الاستثمار رقم72 لسنة 2017 من التطبيق على هذه المشروعات على ان يسرى هذا القانون على مشروعات انتاج الهيدروجين الاخضر ومشتقاته التي تبرم اتفاقيات المشروع الخاصة بها خلال خمس سنوات من تاريخ العمل بهذا القانون. على ان تتمتع مشروعات انتاج الهيدروجين الاخضر ومشتقاته وتوسعاته المستقبلية بالحوافز المقررة في هذا القانون شرط ان تبرم اتفاقيات المشروع الخاصة بالتوسع خلال سبع سنوات من تاريخ البدء في التشغيل التجاري للمشروع. Le loi sur les incitations aux projets de production d'hydrogène vert et ses dérivés La Chambre des représentants égyptienne a émis cette loi, et par "hydrogène vert", on entend l'hydrogène produit par l'électrolyse de l'eau dessalée en utilisant des sources d'énergie renouvelables. La société établie pour le projet doit être une société par actions. La loi n° 83 de 2002 concernant les zones économiques spéciales et la loi n° 72 de 2017 concernant l'investissement sont exemptées de s'appliquer à ces projets, à condition que cette loi s'applique aux projets de production d'hydrogène vert et à leurs dérivés, qui concluent des accords de projet dans les cinq ans suivant la date d'entrée en vigueur de cette loi. Les projets de production d'hydrogène vert, leurs dérivés et leurs expansions futures bénéficieront des incitations prévues dans cette loi, à condition que les accords d'expansion du projet soient conclus dans les sept ans suivant la date de début de l'exploitation commerciale du projet
